Pink

Pink

Pink is the colour we most associate with roses. Shades range from softest blush pink, to pure rose pink, right through to bright magenta pink. Some pink varieties are tinged with other colours such as apricot, peach or lilac. Indeed, there is no other colour in roses that offers the possibility of so much variation as do the various shades of pink.

    Anne Boleyn

    English Standard Tree Rose
It bears large sprays of nicely cupped, rosette-shaped blooms, with symmetrically arranged petals. They are a soft shade of warm mid pink, each with just a hint of a button eye, and have a light to medium fragrance. Its spreading, arching growth builds up to form a mounded head with soft green, highly polished foliage. The whole impression of this rose is one of pleasing freshness, both in flower and in leaf. David Austin, 1999.
