Potted Roses

Potted roses are available all year round. They are very popular gifts and can be planted during the summer months outside of the bare root rose season. Once planted, they establish quickly in the garden, flowering in their first year – and for many years to come. Potted roses are delivered direct from David Austin’s nursery by courier. Each rose will arrive in a premium 6 litre pot, securely packed inside a sturdy, rose-print box. If watered adequately, potted roses can be kept in the same pot in which they are delivered for 6 weeks or more.

    A beautiful rambler smothered with huge bunches of small, single blooms. These are blush white, delicately tinted with pale pink at the edges, later becoming almost pure white, creating the impression of apple blossom.They have a strong, pleasing musky fragrance, which carries over a wide area.     A repeat-flowering rambler; it bears unusual, very attractive flowers of soft salmon-pink, fading to light pink. They are medium-sized and very full, the quill shaped petals radiating out from a button eye. There is a strong apple scent with a hint of chrysanthemum. Its graceful lax growth is easy to train.     A very tall, vigorous sport of the much-loved bush rose. Its exquisitely formed, thimble-sized Hybrid Tea buds are pale pink and sweetly fragrant. They are held singly on thin, wiry stems, although later in the season it produces open sprays of blooms. The foliage is small but particularly luxuriant and it has relatively few thorns. Hosp, 1894.

    Small, semi-double flowers are held upright on the branch in clusters. The cream buds, tinged with blush, open to cream flowers, with yellow stamens, which pale to white. They have a rich orange perfume that carries well. The leaves are quite small and dark green, and it bears small, oval, orange hips in autumn. Wells, 1835.
