We are committed to change

As breeders of exquisite English Roses since 1961, we are more focused than ever on making positive changes in our approach to sustainability. We share with our customers a deep rooted love of nature and as rose growers, we have a unique reliance on the natural environment around us; the quality of our roses depend on it. While we recognise it will take time to become fully sustainable, by taking small steps such as reducing plastic consumption, we can enable our customers to make their own steps towards sustainability.

The health and well-being of our plants is at the core of everything we do. Our goal today remains the same, as it did at the beginning, to develop the healthiest roses possible without compromising their beauty, fragrance, grace and, most importantly, their charm. Above all we love roses and we want to see them thrive.

We have a deep rooted love of nature and we are committed to doing all we can to protect and preserve it. We have a unique reliance on the natural environment; the quality of our roses depend on it.

We are committed to treading more lightly on the planet.

Our plants are created by highly skilled craftsmen, grown by our farmers and then taken home to be loved by our customers.

We take great pride in the fact that our plants bring joy to people and with our profits we work to ethically extend that joy and give back to causes we believe in.

We are continually testing and developing new ways in which we as a business can reduce our impact on the environment. Our bare root roses are now delivered in plastic-free packaging and our signature green pot for potted roses is made in the UK from 98% recycled material.

As a company we are committed to continually reviewing our practices as we endeavour to tread more lightly on the planet.
