    An exceptionally beautiful rose with distinctive neat, flat blooms. Each bloom is a lovely soft pink, the smaller central petals deepening to rich apricot and surrounding deep-set stamens. The strong Tea scent becomes more Old Rose, with delicious hints of lemon and grapefruit. It forms a bushy shrub with strong, healthy, upright growth. Named for the Brontë Society to celebrate the bicentenary of the novelist’s birth. David Austin, 2018.

    Single, white flowers of silky texture with a strong Old Rose fragrance. These are quickly followed by exceptionally large, orange-red hips that ripen together with the last of its blooms. It forms a vigorous, spreading shrub.

    One of the finest of all the Old Roses. Pretty, cupped buds open to large, beautifully formed, quartered, slightly reflexing flowers, each with a central button eye. They are a soft glowing shade of pink, with a particularly strong and delicious Old Rose fragrance. It forms a vigorous shrub with thorny growth and attractive grey-green leaves. Booth, 1826.

    It bears flowers of the most perfect formation – shallow cups of purest mid pink. They flower very freely from early summer until well into the autumn, and have a strong, pure Old Rose fragrance, which has been described as reminiscent of rose-based cosmetics.     A beautiful standard rose, deserving of a prime spot in the garden. It is one of the most reliable, free and continuous flowering of all roses. The small, single Polyantha flowers are soft pink, with white centres and prominent golden stamens. They are held in close, many-flowered trusses, reminiscent of hydrangea heads. Its rounded habit and light green foliage gives it an attractive, shapely head. There is a slight scent. .
