    Small, single flowers held in very large heads, rather like a hydrangea, produced almost continuously from early summer into autumn. Soft apricot buds open to pure white, with a hint of soft lemon behind the stamens. It is extremely healthy and almost thornless. The growth is bushy and rather upright - a group of two or more bushes creating a mass of white, as though covered with snow. David Austin, 2009.

    A very beautiful and elegant rambler, with small, pink buds opening to semi-double flowers, which quickly fade from cream to white. They are held in small, dainty sprays, hanging gracefully from the branch rather like the blooms of a Japanese cherry. The growth is very lax and not too vigorous, making it an easy variety to train.     A beautiful rose; the blooms are a particularly rich shade of apricot-orange, paling prettily towards the edges. Beginning as striking, red-tipped buds they gradually open to reveal large informal rosettes, each with ruffled petals and a button eye. They are very resistant to rain damage and the petals drop neatly. There is a light, but lovely, fresh Tea fragrance. A vigorous grower, it produces strong, arching stems which, over time, form an attractive mound of blooms. Named after one of Britain's most beloved stars of stage and screen. David Austin, 2017.
