        Description
This vigorous, upright rose makes a very good climber in both beauty and performance. It bears pleasingly cupped, pale lemon buds which gradually open to large, creamy white flowers, the outer petals perfectly arranged in concentric circles. They have a strong myrrh fragrance with dashes of meadowsweet, vanilla and heliotrope. The growth is strong and particularly healthy, and it is clothed in attractive matt green foliage.

          Stunning!

My first David Austin rose and I wasn’t disappointed at all, when they get delivered looking like this.
I popped them on the side for a while (out of the way of renovations) and the scent was flowing through the house!
It’s absolutely beautiful, more than I expected

          Simply beautiful

I’ve had my Clare Austin 2 years this autumn and it’s absolutely divine. It’s grown well over 8ft extremely healthy and is still getting bigger! It’s smell is the most beautiful perfume and the roses are absolutely stunning. It’s in a mostly shady spot and the recommendations for the website were spot on for a fragrant climber that enjoys shade. DA has made me fall in love with roses in the garden!!! They’re also beautiful for bouquets as the flowering is so abundant!
