Begin your morning at 9.15am at our David Austin® Plant Centre in Albrighton, where you’ll enjoy a complimentary selection of breakfast bites* before your half-day workshop
Led by our rose specialists, this relaxed session (10 am - 1 pm) includes practical demonstrations on planting techniques, pruning, soil preparation, and ongoing care to ensure strong, healthy roses.
Included is a complimentary bare root rose of your choice* along with a packet of David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi to encourage robust root development. You’ll also enjoy 10% off any purchases in the Plant Centre and gift shop on the day of your workshop.
*Please advise us of any dietary requirements when booking. Free bare root rose does not include standard tree roses.
What to Bring
Wear weather-appropriate clothing and outdoor footwear, as the workshop includes an outdoor planting demonstration.
January - February
Begin your morning at 9.15 am at our David Austin® Plant Centre in Albrighton to enjoy breakfast bites* and a welcome drink before the workshop begins at 10 am. The session will finish at approximately 2 pm.
During this half-day workshop, you'll enjoy practical demonstrations showing you why, when and how to prune English shrub and climbing roses, giving you the confidence to care for your own roses at home.
You'll also have the opportunity to practise your new skills by pruning a potted rose. You can choose from one of three varieties, then take your rose home*, free of charge.
As a workshop guest, you'll receive 10% off all purchases in the Plant Centre and Gift Shop on the day of your workshop.
*Please advise us of any dietary requirements when booking. Complimentary potted rose varieties depend on stock availability and are non-transferable.

Workshops run rain or shine; please dress for the weather and bring appropriate outdoor footwear.
Yes, you can either call our Customer Services team to book or purchase a David Austin® Gift Card, and the recipient can book themselves on a course.
If you’re unable to attend, please contact us to cancel your booking at least 24 hours before the event starts. We’ll review your cancellation and advise you of your options and next steps, which may include a refund or rebooking.
