Roses are invaluable in a mixed border; I love using them in every garden I create. Roses bring height, form, structure, and, most importantly, they bring romance and magic. The sheer beauty and presence of their blooms is so striking that their charm stays in the memory long after their blooms have faded and gone. 

We’ve implemented an Integrated Pest Management system across all six of our themed gardens and our nursery- home to the breeding of our world-renowned roses. 

A thousand visitors got to explore the private sanctuary on the family farm where the company is based in Albrighton, Shropshire, on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th of June.

We were delighted to be included in the show gardens at this year’s BBC Gardeners’ World Live. The event celebrates the joys of summer gardening with a line-up of Gardeners’ World TV presenters and leading experts, alongside inspiring show gardens, a vibrant floral marquee, and a wide array of plants, shopping, and entertainment.

Every appearance at this prestigious event is many months in the planning, from selecting the theme and designing the stand, to meticulously preparing the selected roses and bringing it all together for one magical week each year. 

At this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show on 20th May 2024, David Austin ^® has revealed its new rose of the year in honour of iconic British potter Emma Bridgewater. A beguiling pink English shrub rose, her rosette form opens up to a crescendo of colours ranging from apricot and coral to mauve and lilac, nodding to the painterly nature of Emma Bridgewater’s collectible pottery, which have stolen the nation’s heart for decades

The theme for the Royal Horticultural Society’s (RHS) National Gardening Week in 2024 is 'Knowledge is Flower', which aims to demystify the wonderful world of gardening. The perfect time to dispel some myths and unveil the ease of growing our typically British, David Austin blooms.

I once had one of my gardens described as a firework display in slow motion.  A visual that struck a chord.
