This is a limited edition print from an original watercolour on vellum by Evelyn Binns, signed and numbered by the artist.    The rose illustrated was bred by David Austin, who commissioned the watercolour. 'Lady Emma Hamilton's' flowers are quite a bright colour for an English Rose. The tight buds are the most wonderful dark red with dashes of orange. When fully open the flowers are a lovely mixture of a rich, tangerine-orange with a more yellow-orange back to the petals, the flowers contrasting beautifully with the dark, This is a limited edition print from an original watercolour on vellum by Evelyn Binns, signed and numbered by the artist. ‘Lady Emma Hamilton’, the English Rose illustrated, was bred by David Austin, who commissioned the watercolour. The print is delivered mounted, measuring 47.6cm high by 36.8cm wide, giving you the freedom to choose your own style of frame. Evelyn Binns is a self-taught botanical watercolour artist with an international reputation for fine artistic quality and precise botanical accuracy. Evelyn has been awarded seven RHS Gold Medals and her work can be found in many prestigious collections including the RHS Lindley Library, the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, The Royal Hospital Chelsea and Dr. Shirley Sherwood. The botanical study of 'Lady Emma Hamilton' has been reproduced as a giclée limited edition print. The printer is a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild.
