With talks from our gardeners and rose experts, our enjoyable and relaxed half-day workshops will explain everything you need to know about pruning to ensure your roses continue to be healthy, look neat and produce plenty of blooms from late spring through to autumn.

The course includes:

9.30am arrival for a choice of a bacon or vegan sausage bun, pastries and hot drink upon arrival
Half-day workshop through to approximately 1pm, including a practical demonstration
A potted rose of your choice*
Exclusive 10% discount to use against purchases made on the day in our plant centre and gift shop

* Complimentary potted rose is non-transferable; the varieties available are dependent upon stock availability.

What you’ll need:

We recommend wearing warm clothing, and outdoor footwear.

Bring your own secateurs and gloves.

Brilliant course! Received my course as a gift from my lovely husband. Attended on March 2nd (a little bit late. Try to go in Jan/Feb if you can). Excellent breakfast provided by the cafe staff, thank you. Followed by a wonderfully informative morning run by Di. Thanks to whom my Variegata di Bologna has flowered wonderfully this year. I was surprised at quite how much I learnt. Would have been good to have had other gardeners join her at the end for the actual pruning practice, as she was spread rather thinly trying to get round to us all and check our progress. But 100% recommend this course.

Excellent workshop for the beginner rose grower. A really enjoyable morning, breakfast and morning coffee provided as well as a Rose. I would really recommend this workshop and will definitely book onto any further work shops that are available.
