Garden Trends for Autumn

As the leaves fall from the trees leaving branches bare, we know autumn is upon us and with it the bare stems of bare root roses. To help you achieve that autumn garden look, why not try our recommendations with either your existing roses or by preparing for next autumn by planting some new bare root roses.

Much like the trees, bare root roses will quickly sprout green again in the spring, flowering into full bloom come summer.

AUTUMN COLOUR

Autumn is upon us and it is time to start thinking about how your flowerbed will look throughout the seasons when you plant a mixed bed or border. The repeat flowering nature of roses will see them provide colour, blooms and contrast in your garden right through to November. For an extra autumnal twist pick shades of orange and apricot.

Preserving Nature

Don’t be afraid of the skeletons of finished flowers and the autumnal brown hues which can offset the autumn roses, much like the style of an on-trend dried floral bouquet. The fresh repeat blooms of roses can work wonderfully well into the darker days against the dried finished blooms of alliums, grasses or hydrangeas.
