Description
One of the finest of all the Old Roses. Pretty, cupped buds open to large, beautifully formed, quartered, slightly reflexing flowers, each with a central button eye. They are a soft glowing shade of pink, with a particularly strong and delicious Old Rose fragrance. It forms a vigorous shrub with thorny growth and attractive grey-green leaves. Booth, 1826.
