Bare rooted Scepter'd Isle - what a disappointment

I bought Scepter'd Isle as a bare root some 3 or 4 years go. It has been looked after very well. It is a healthy plant but I am convinced it is not Scepter'd Isle, it has virtually no fragrance yet it is described as having a very strong fragrance.
I made a complaint to David Austin which was promptly dismissed as that was unable to detect the fragrance type. This is wrong I have a number of DA roses and can smell them all. Very disappointing, I was an ardent fan and loyal customer up to this experience. Will never but a bare root plant from DA again.

          Beautiful flowers

My plant is now in it's second season and it really is a beautiful rose that smells amazing! I do wish it was a bit more bushy but that might just be due to it's age. It really is well worth the money though.

Oh it also seems really healthy and I've had no black spot even though a standard rose (not a David Austin rose btw) close by has it.
