A mass of small, semi-double, dark crimson flowers, turning mauve crimson with age, are held in large clusters. Repeats reliably and provides a good splash of colour. If not dead-headed, a crop of red hips will follow and last well into the winter. Medium fragrance. Kordes, 1934.
